Kames Hires New Manager From SWIP

UK investment house Kames Capital has appointed Craig Bonthron as an investment manager.
UK investment house Kames Capital has appointed Craig Bonthron as
an investment manager.
He joins the global equity team and reports to Pauline McPherson,
the co-manager of the Kames global equity fund.
Bonthron joins from Scottish Widows Investment Partnership where
he was investment director global equities and was the joint fund
manager of the global sustainability equity and global Islamic
equity funds.
In his new role Bonthron will analyse stocks for the global
equity fund, while working with Kames’ regional equity
specialists to ensure their best investment ideas are represented
in its global equity portfolios.
"Craig brings 12 years of experience in global equities where he
has been both fund manager and an analyst for a number of
different strategies and geographies. This experience leaves him
well placed to seek out and analyse good ideas for our global
equity funds," said Stephen Jones, chief investment officer.
