UK investment house Kames Capital has added to its fund offering in Spain.

Its latest launch - the Kames Absolute Return Bond Fund - is the third registered fund following its entry into the country in September 2013. The other funds are the Kames High Yield Global Bond Fund and the Kames Strategic Global Bond Fund.

The new fund will be managed by Stephen Snowden and Colin Finlayson and aims to provide investors with a low risk absolute positive return over a three year period through investing in a range of global debt instruments in any currency, including AAA government bonds through to high yield and emerging market bonds.

It may also invest in all types of fixed and floating rate fixed income securities and has no geographic limitations, the firm said.

“Spain is a fast evolving and important market to us at Kames and we believe the registration of this fund will prove popular with savvy investors looking for a real alternative to cash,” said Steve Kenny, head of retail distribution.

The firm has €62.5 billion (£50.9 billion) under management.
