Julius Baer Makes Swiss Hire From Rival Credit Suisse

Julius Baer has hired Paul Arni from rival Credit Suisse as market head for Zurich.

Julius Baer has hired Paul Arni from rival Credit Suisse as market head for Zurich.

Arni was region head Zurich and head private banking region Zurich at Credit Suisse and will report to region head Giovanni Flury.

“I am very pleased that Daniel Aegerter has accepted the responsibility for Region Switzerland’s new Key Clients organisation – his expertise will be very valuable for his new role. At the same time, I am very happy that Paul Arni will join our organisation as Market Head Zurich. He brings many years of private banking experience and an extensive personal network with him to Julius Baer,” said Flury.

He joins at the beginning of next month and takes over the role from Daniel Aegerter - who has moved and become head of key clients region Switzerland.
