The Swiss private bank has recruited from a rival, expanding its foreign exchange private banking team.

Julius Baer, Switzerland's third-largest wealth manager, has appointed Laura Hilber as director of its foreign exchange private banking solutions team, this publication can confirm.

Most recently, she was director of UBS's foreign exchange, rates and credit division, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Prior to her stint at UBS, Hilber spent three years with Credit Suisse while completing her university degree.
