Janus Launches Global Flexible Income Fund

London-based Janus Capital International, the international arm of New York-listed Janus Capital Group, has unveiled its Janus Global Flexible Income Fund.

The fund will utilise a fundamentals-driven process focused on credit-oriented investments around the world, in both investment grade and high yield. The objective is risk-adjusted returns with an emphasis on capital preservation.

Co-manager Gibson Smith, who also serves as Janus’ co-chief investment officer and head of fixed income, says the fund is a natural extension of the firm's bottom-up, credit-driven approach to fixed income investing and will offer an alternative and complementary style to many of the macro-driven strategies that dominate the global fixed-income marketplace.
