The new operation will enhance JTC’s ability to deliver sophisticated solutions to its international client base and will complement the firm’s existing European private client office.

Global professional services business, JTC has enhanced its European service provision by opening an office in Vienna, Austria.

JTC Austria will offer a range of services to both private and institutional clients, forming part of its global business. The firm said the new operation will enhance JTC’s ability to deliver sophisticated solutions to its international client base and will complement its existing European private client offices in London, Switzerland, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.

The team, headed up by Alexander Walther (pictured), has many years of experience working within the private wealth industry. It joins JTC from a multi-national business administration firm which Walther led in Austria for 20 years. Walther, who has a background in law, has also spent periods working in Germany and Brazil.

“Vienna has a thriving financial services sector and enjoys a strong reputation as a centre of excellence for private client services. Opening an office here is part of JTC’s strategy to deliver a truly global and holistic service to clients.
