JM Finn Targets Winchester

Combined with the benefit of technology, the new office will improve the firm's connectivity and efficiency – investment managers will be closer to their clients.

UK wealth manager JM Finn has bought a new office in the heart of Winchester to support its growth in the region.

The firm said its Winchester branch has grown to a team of six investment managers and four support staff, who now manage £960 million ($1,217 million) on behalf of clients, up from £730 million in 2019.

Having a regional office in Winchester allows JM Finn to be closer to many clients based in the South of England. This proximity will result in greater efficiency as investment managers can easily visit clients across the region. At the same time, technology ensures that the regional teams can stay connected with colleagues and clients in other locations, the firm added.

"Having launched the Winchester branch in 2019, we've seen tremendous growth as JM Finn becomes the wealth manager of choice in Hampshire and the surrounding counties,” Simon Tufnell, investment director, said.

“A presence in Winchester allows us to be responsive to changing client preferences and work patterns; we can accommodate all clients whether they prefer to meet at their own home, come to our office or to speak on a video call,” he added. “Overall, this expanded regional hub strengthens our presence across England and our service to clients,” Tufnell said.
