JHC Systems Hires Wealth Solutions Head

The UK-based provider of technology services to the wealth management industry has hired a fintech professional from Societe Generale.

JHC Systems has appointed Amir Hakim to the new position of head of wealth solutions.

Hakim was previously head of product and sales at Societe Generale Securities Services. During his 20 years in the industry, he has also worked with several business process outsourcing providers across the UK, including BNY Mellon Pershing, BNP Paribas Securities Services and OMX Securities.

He will be based in London in the new role.

“Amir has acquired a wealth of diverse business experience leading multiple teams. He also has a proven track record of building on the success of businesses operating within the technology space, which makes him the ideal candidate to lead our wealth solutions offering, and in particular drive the growth of our latest innovation, NEON,” said the firm's chief executive, John Blackman.

JHC launched NEON late last year. The software application is designed to help wealth managers service clients both in the office and on the road.

Last month, John Boggis was appointed as JHC’s new head of sales to lead the firm’s business development teams. He replaced Eric Dickinson, who left last year.
