Investment House Nabs Third Employee From Lloyds Private Banking

The investment manager has been expanding its operations in the UK after it opened its London office in May.

UK-based GWM Investment Management, part of the GWM Group, has appointed Rob Hodgson as senior wealth manager. The appointment is the third GWM hire from Lloyds Private Banking over the past few months.

Hodgson will be responsible for the expansion of the business across Europe, as well as working closely with Joseph Clark on business development and client retention, the firm said in a statement yesterday.

The expansion will see Hodgson reunited with former Lloyds PB colleagues Paul Allen and Tom Milson.

Prior to Lloyds, Hodgson was a senior private banker at Westpac in Sydney.

GWM Investment Management was established in 1994 and opened its London office in May last year before moving premises from Cavendish Square to Mayfair.
