Investec Wealth & Investment Hits AuM High

Investec Wealth and Investment has reached the £40 billion (around $60 billion) mark in assets under management.

Since 31 March 2012, the firm has seen a 15 per cent increase to £40.1 billion in assets under management, an increase of 20 per cent on a currency-neutral basis.

Investec said its wealth and investment business is performing well ahead of the previous year, recording net inflows of £0.9 billion over the period. The firm pointed to its inclusion of Williams de Broë and Irish private client stockbroker NCB as a driving factor for its success. 

Meanwhile, Investec's asset management business also saw positive inflows, of £3.2 billion, with assets under management jumping up by 12 per cent, reaching £69.2 billion - an increase of 18 per cent on a currency-neutral basis.
