Investec W&I Appoints Investment Director In Northern Ireland Push

The wealth and investment arm of London-listed Investec has welcomed a new Belfast-based investment director amid strong regional growth.

Investec Wealth & Investment has appointed Leigh Yeaman as an investment director to help propel its growth in the Northern Irish wealth management space.

Yeaman previously served as senior investment manager at Quilter Cheviot, where she looked after discretionary funds on behalf of private clients, pensions, charities, trusts and companies. With almost 20 years’ experience in managing portfolios for private clients, pensions and corporate entities, she brings expertise in managing funds for charities and trusts.

Based in Belfast, within a 16-strong team, she will cover the Northern Irish market, reporting to the firm's divisional director, Samuel Brown.

“Leigh has an exceptional level of experience of the Northern Irish wealth management market. She has joined Investec Wealth & Investment at a propitious time for the office. Northern Ireland is a key market for the firm and we are seeing a strong, positive growth and an increasing number of clients,” said Brown.

As of the end of March, Investec Wealth & Investment managed around £27.7 billion ($43.8 billion) of client funds.
