Invesco Perpetual Promotes Manager For Onshore, Offshore Funds

This publication brings more news about moves in the global wealth management arena.

Invesco Perpetual, part of New York-listed investment manager Invesco, has promoted Jack Parker to the newly-created role of deputy fund manager for one onshore fund and three offshore funds. He is based just outside of London, as part of the firm's fixed interest team.

Parker will join fund manager Stuart Edwards as deputy fund manager for the Invesco Perpetual Global Bond Fund and the Invesco Global Bond Fund, which is based offshore. The other two offshore funds he will manage as deputy fund manager are Global Total Return (EUR) Bond and Global Unconstrained Bond. He will manage those two together with Paul Causer and Paul Read, co-heads of fixed interest.

Invesco Perpetual said that this promotion recognises the contribution Parker has made to the Invesco Perpetual fixed interest team. Before the promotion Parker was a macro analyst/trader and trainee, working for the team for the past five years.

“Jack has provided expert analysis for many years and his input has contributed greatly to the success of the wider fixed income franchise,” Causer said.

On 2 July, Invesco Perpetual hired Gareth Dunsmore, Jessica Svantesson and Mark McDonnell within its UK-based fixed interest team.

As of the end of March, Invesco Perpetual had £28.6 billion ($44.6 billion) of assets under management.
