International Law Firm Names Global Managing Partner

Walkers, the private client law firm, has appointed Ingrid Pierce as global managing partner, succeeding Diarmad Murray, who the firm said will remain as part of the global management committee.

Pierce first joined Walkers in 2002 and was named a partner of the firm in 2007. She is also head of Walkers' Cayman Islands investment funds group, a role in which she will remain fully involved in transactional work, the firm said.

Walkers' global management committee comprises senior partners representing the key jurisdictions in which it operates. The firm has offices in the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Dubai, Dublin, Hong Kong, Jersey, London and Singapore.
