Insparo Hires Middle-Office Analyst

Insparo Asset Management has appointed Andrew Dwiar as a middle-office analyst, a role in which he will help in managing the operations around the funds at the London-based emerging markets boutique.
Dwiar will work closely with Insparo’s front- and back-office teams, particularly with chief operating officer Jon Laidlow and James Gore, finance and operations manager, on the day-to-day running of the company’s funds. He will also assist the investment team, the firm said.
Dwiar's latest employer was Thames River Capital, where he worked with the global credit team. Earlier in his career, he has represented Credit Suisse and Bluebay Asset Management.
Insparo said in a statement that Dwiar will focus on trade settlement cycle, cash and position reconciliations for the Africa and Middle East Fund and the Africa Equity Fund. The former has generated a total return of 34 per cent since its inception in July 2008, while the latter, launched in February this year, has had a flat performance, the firm said.
