Heartwood Wealth Boosts Investment Management Division

Heartwood Wealth Management, the London-based independent wealth manager, has appointed Jade Fu and Jaisal Pastakia as investment associates in its investment management division. Fu joins from Barclays Capital while Pastakia was latterly an analyst at Dresdner Kleinwort.

Fu worked as a product manager in Barclays Capital's Treasury Sales, where her role was to advise high net worth and UK mid-cap institutions on investment and risk management solutions. Previously, she worked in Societe Generale’s cross-asset structuring team and at Bank of America, where she was an analyst in the structured finance team.

While an analyst at Dresdner Kleinwort, Pastakia worked in the capital markets team, focusing on the pricing and execution of new bonds.

In their new roles at Heartwood the pair will focus on portfolio management and research, reporting to Alan Sippetts, head of research.

These new appointments come after the announcement that Heartwood is launching a new range of multi-asset funds; two of these have already been launched and a further two are expected to be unveiled at the end of the first quarter of the year, as previously reported by WealthBriefing.
