Head Of Strategy, Client Management At Morgan Stanley To Depart

Morgan Stanley Wealth Management has confirmed the departure of its head of strategy and client management.

Morgan Stanley Wealth Management's head of strategy and client management, Doug Ketterer, is leaving the firm, Family Wealth Report can confirm.

It is unclear when exactly it is that he is expected to leave.

Ketterer has worked at Morgan Stanley for 25 years and was a member of the leadership team that led the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney joint venture. He has also served as head of field management and private wealth management.

Earlier in his career, Ketterer managed Morgan Stanley's investment products and services organization. In his most recent role as head of strategy and client management, he focused on shaping the firm's approach to client segments, engagement, platforms, acquisition and retention.

Morgan Stanley said it will be making additional organizational announcements shortly.

In other recent news, earlier this month it emerged that David Bokman has joined Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management as head of ultra high net worth resources – a new role at the firm.
