The Guernsey-headquartered international financial firm Carey Group has appointed Jim Gilligan to the role of managing director at Carey Trustees.

Prior to this, Gilligan worked for Kleinwort Benson as the head of the international wealth management team and before that as the director of its trust company.

“Carey Group’s partnership approach and ability to work with a broad range of clients’ advisors was one of the key attractions of joining Carey Group and I look forward to working with them in developing their business even further,” said Gilligan in a statement.

Carey Group launched Carey Trustees in 1968 and provides support to commercial, private, pension and benefit clients.
