Guardian Advice Names New Manager for Western, Southern Australia

Guardian Advice, the Australian life risk specialist dealer group, has named a new manager for Western and South Australia.

Steve Coyle assumes the role of manager for Western Australia and South Australia, based in Perth. Coyle joins the firm from MLC, where he served as business growth manager responsible for identifying and recruiting financial planning businesses into the MLC licensees.

Prior to that, he was state manager at NAB Private Wealth and regional manager at AMP Financial Planning. He brings over 25 years of industry experience to the company.
The appointment is in line with Guardian's strategy to grow its advisor numbers to over 300 by 2016, said the firm in a statement. Currently, Guardian Advice has at least 200 advisors serving some 130,000 clients Australia-wide.
