Getting Wise To AI With Capgemini
With artificial intelligence affecting financial services and other sectors, the global consultancy firm has brought out a new suite of services aimed at helping firms get a competitive edge.
Global consultancy house Capgemini has rolled out a
suite of services to help organisations get the most out of
artificial intelligence, at a time when AI is already making
itself felt in fields such as
wealth management.
The portfolio of services and solutions is called Perform AI.
The offering addresses issues such as how to dramatically
increase how AI is used beyond “proof-of-concept” deployments;
use AI to make humans more effective in what they do; transform
how businesses operate, and build trust, conduct and
privacy.
The Paris-headquartered firm cited its own research showing many
people are still anxious and poorly informed about AI, which
obscures the opportunities and problems of this new technology.
Spending on AI and related areas is predicted to grow from 2016
to 2012 at a compound annual growth rate of 46.2 per cent,
reaching a total of $52.2 billion in 2021.
“Most companies have already started to experiment with AI to
help them transform certain functions within their business, but
those that adopt it effectively and throughout the enterprise
will gain true competitive advantage,” Lanny Cohen, group chief
innovation officer at Capgemini.
