Former Goldman Sachs Exec Joins JP Morgan AM As Marketing Chief

JP Morgan Asset Management has named a new marketing head for Asia-Pacific.

Heidi Sutton assumes the role of chief marketing officer, based in Hong Kong, with immediate effect.

Sutton, who used to be the managing director and head of marketing strategy for Asia-Pacific at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, will be responsible for all marketing efforts in the region while working with the company's various marketing teams.

She returns to JP Morgan after 13 years, having previously worked for JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management. Sutton moved to First State Investments after the merger between Fleming and JP Morgan in 2001 and for the past nine years was part of the Goldman Sachs team.

JP Morgan Asset Management Asia-Pacific covers asset management, investment banking, corporate banking, private banking and treasury and securities services. Its offices are in Australia and New Zealand, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
