The former head of wealth management at Kleinwort Benson, Gordon Scott, has joined Barclays Wealth, this publication can confirm.

He has been named a director within the firm’s Glasgow team. Scott has spent several months out of the market on “gardening leave” after leaving Kleinwort Benson, as previously reported by this publication.

Before his career at Kleinwort, Scott was a private client manager at Standard Life.

At Barclays Wealth, Scott reports to Calum Brewster, director, UK & Ireland private bank, Scotland, the firm confirmed to WealthBriefing.
