First Republic Adds To Board

New York-listed First Republic Bank has added Reynold Levy - president of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York since 2002 - to its board of directors.

Levy was elected as a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and is currently chairman of the board at the Charles H Revson Foundation, as well as a member of the board of overseers of the international rescue committee and a trustee of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America.

“Reynold’s extensive leadership experience, his deep knowledge of New York, and his broad philanthropic knowledge will make him an invaluable member of First Republic's board,” said Jim Herbert, chairman and chief executive.

First Republic Bank and its subsidiaries provide private banking, private business banking and private wealth management services.
