Expansion Minded Kleinworts Poaches Scottish Head From Standard Life
UK wealth manager
Kleinwort Benson has appointed Gordon Scott to lead its
Scottish and Northern Irish operations based in Edinburgh.
Mr Scott joins from
Standard Life where for over ten years he had played a key
role in the company’s increasingly important presence in the high
net worth market. He specialises in investment, pension and
inheritance tax planning solutions for high net worth
individuals.
"We would expect to recruit further private banking managers this
year and in anticipation of this growth, we are moving our
offices from St Andrew Square to prestigious offices in Charlotte
Square, where we will be in the heart of the financial district
of Edinburgh," said Mr Scott.
Mr Scott reports to Colin Rowe, head of regional private wealth management, and joined last December.
