Rathbone Investment Management (Rathbones), part of UK-listed Rathbone Brothers, has awarded a contract to Equipos and OpenText to design, build and maintain its online and mobile client communications infrastructure.

“The revolutionary combination of Equipos Coric Client Communications Suite and OpenText Enterprise Information Management software will further enhance client experience for Rathbones’ wealth management clients and intermediaries, by providing access to reports, portfolio valuations and other client communications via the client’s desktop or mobile device,” according to a press release from Equipos.

The deal represents a significant win for Equipos, as Rathbone Investment Management is a significant wealth manager and investment house, overseeing a total of £17.35 billion (around $27.5 billion) of assets. Rathbones has been a client of Equipos for 12 years.
