Envestnet Appoints Head Of Global Strategy
New York-listed Envestnet, a provider of wealth management technology and services to financial advisors, has appointed Zachary Karabell as head of global strategy.
New York-listed Envestnet, a provider of wealth management technology and services to financial advisors, has appointed Zachary Karabell as head of global strategy.
Karabell will help advisors understand how the global economy affects client portfolios, as well as shape and communicate Envestnet’s investment perspective and research to clients and the media. Additionally, he will work with senior management on overall corporate strategy, branding and market position.
Karabell was previously executive vice president, chief economist and head of marketing at Fred Alger Management, a New York-based investment firm managing approximately $19 billion in mutual funds and institutional accounts.
At Alger, Karabell led the creation, launch and marketing of several funds as well as corporate strategy for acquisitions. He was also president of broker-dealer Fred Alger & Co; portfolio manager of the China-US Growth Fund and executive vice president of Alger’s Spectra Funds.
Earlier this month, Envestnet reported that adjusted revenues increased 64 per cent to $69.9 million for the third quarter of 2013, up from $42.7 million a year ago.
