UK based wrap platform provider Nucleus has appointed Doug
Heron chief financial officer.
Heron starts in January next year and will oversee the finance,
risk and compliance functions at Nucleus. He is responsible for a
team of 14 in his new role and reports directly to managing
director Stuart Geard.
He joins from Adam & Company, a Scottish private bank, where he
was finance director.
“With the business extremely well positioned for future growth,
it is vital we have people on board who are both hugely talented
and have the vision and drive to help us achieve our potential.
While we were very impressed by both the quantity and quality of
people interested in joining Nucleus for this role, in Doug I
believe we have found someone who not only shares our passion for
the business but has the skills and ambition to ensure it is able
to meet its objectives in the coming years,” said Geard.
Nucleus was founded in 2006 and now has assets under
administration on the platform of £7.34 billion ($12 billion).
