EXCLUSIVE: UBS Segment Head For Taiwan Leaves Firm

A senior UBS private banker involved with the Taiwan market has left the bank, this publication can exclusively report.

Grant Ko, who has held the role of cluster head for Taiwan at UBS’ wealth management division, is leaving the Swiss banking giant, this publication has learned.

Ko’s future plans are unknown as at the time of writing. He is based in Hong Kong.

A spokesperson for Zurich-listed UBS declined to comment on the move.

By contrast, in terms of movements, UBS announced yesterday that it has recruited 88 client advisors in the Asia-Pacific region since the start of 2014, an 8 per cent increase, taking the total to 1,120.
