Continuing its drive across Asia, ANZ Private Bank has made another senior strategic hire. The Melbourne-headquartered bank has appointed Mario Bassi to the role of global business development head.

Bassi will start his role this month and be based in Singapore at ANZ. The seasoned banker previously held senior roles in Asia with Deutsche Private Bank where he was the head of strategy and business development for Asia-Pacific and with Credit Suisse.

He joins ANZ Private Bank from a three year stint with Solution Providers, which is a global active management consulting company.
