Dutch Bank in Talks to Buy Major Indian Asset Manager

Rabobank, the Netherland's biggest unlisted bank, is in talks with India's state-run Canara Bank to buy a stake in its asset management company, according to media sources in India. Canbank Investment Management Services, Canara Bank’s asset management company which manages R26.4 billion of assets, is in negotiations with the Dutch bank’s asset management division, Robeco, say the sources.
