Dutch Bank Appoints Private Banking Head

Dutch bank Rabobank has appointed Pim Mol as its director of private banking, joining the firm from Dutch-Belgian rival Fortis MeesPierson.

Mr Mol, 50, had been head of the Fortis MeesPierson’s private financial services department and member of the global private banking management board. Since 1995, he worked as a private banker at MeesPierson, which later became Fortis MeesPierson.

He replaces Harold Knebel, who is now general managing director of Rabo Wielerploegen, the bank’s cycling team.
