Digital Digest: The Latest Tech News - UBS

The latest news about technology products and services relevant for wealth managers around the world.

UBS has launched a performance and risk analytics tool pitched at ultra-high net worth and institutional clients, designed to track their money across a range of custodians and locations.

The “Asset Wizard” gives oversight across all bankable and non-bankable asset classes, such as private equity, venture capital, art, real estate and classic cars.

The service gives clients the ability to monitor areas such as investment sustainability, quality of governance and impact on society. (The Swiss bank referred to a study it carried out last year, in its UBS Investor Watch research series, showing that 65 per cent of wealthy investors base spending decisions, career and lifestyle decisions around such values.

“With Asset Wizard, UBS's ultra-high net worth, global family office and external asset manager clients are just two clicks away from comprehensive wealth oversight across all asset classes and banking relationships. It combines fintech innovative flair with the financial expertise of UBS,” Stefan Flachsmann, head of asset servicing, Europe at UBS Global Wealth Management, said.
