Deutsche Bank has appointed Pippa Lambert as global head of human resources, effective from 1 July. She previously worked in the role of director of global reward at Royal Bank of Scotland.

Her appointment represents a return to the German bank where she had worked from May 2002 to April 2011 in different HR roles, Frankfurt-listed Deutsche said in a statement today.

Lambert will be based in Frankfurt and report to Stephan Leithner, member of the management board and the group executive committee whose functional responsibilities include human resources. She will replace Conrad Venter, 63, who will retire from the bank.

Among recent high-profile appointments have included that of Bruno Hallak as chief country officer for France, succeeding Marc Pandraud, and that of Jerry Miller, who was named head of Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management Americas. (The latter role is a newly created one.)
