Colonial First State Hires Another Senior Figure From Macquarie Private Wealth

Colonial First State, the Australia-based firm that counts wealth management among its services, has appointed Cassandra Hinze as head of Bankwest Financial Advice.

In her new role, Hinze will report to Paul Barrett, the general manager of the CFS advice business; she will start her new role next month, the firm said in a statement.

Hinze joined the bank from Macquarie Private Wealth, where she was head of advisor services and was responsible for the strategic direction and management of Macquarie's advice-based programs.

In other hires, in April this year CFS recruited Macquarie Private Wealth senior executive Mark Ballantyne as general manager for Financial Wisdom, the firm’s financial services dealer group.
