Co-Chief Operating Officer At JP Morgan Chase Leaves

Matt Zames has become chief operating officer of New York-listed JP Morgan Chase, following the departure of co-COO Frank Bisignano.

Bisignano has left the bank to become chief executive of First Data Corp, a global payments processing firm.

In other changes, Paul Compton, currently co-chief administrative officer of the corporate and investment bank and deputy head of operations for JP Morgan Chase, will become CAO. He will report to Zames.

Meanwhile, Louis Rauchenberger, co-CAO of the corporate and investment bank with Compton, will become sole CAO of that unit. Rauchenberger will continue to report to the CEOs of CIB, Mike Cavanagh and Daniel Pinto.

As co-COO of JP Morgan Chase, some of Bisignano's responsibilities included overseeing global technology, operations, compliance, regulatory control and oversight, and security and safety. He also served on the executive and operating committees.
