Citisoft Launches Investment Briefing Series
Citisoft, the international investment management
consultancy, has released the first two editions of Industry
Perspectives, a buy-side focused briefing that sets out the
firm's insights on industry practices for investment management
technology and operations.
"Given the current market uncertainty and volatility, firms are
examining how they can rationalise their technology assets and
optimise the operating platform they employ to support the
business," said Citisoft’s chief executive, Paul Migliore, in a
statement.
Industry Perspectives shares the firm's views and offers guidelines and information for making strategic technology and operations decisions.
The first edition, entitled "A Solutions-Based Approach to Client Communications," explores the challenges of inefficiency and risk associated with client reporting and looks at opportunities and solutions for curbing costs and improving service levels.
"In these turbulent times, client servicing takes on an even greater importance in the overall relationship between an investment manager and its clients. No longer is it difficult to prove the ROI associated with client reporting and client communications initiatives," said Tom Secaur, managing director at Citisoft. The most recent edition of Industry Perspectives highlights supply and demand of alternative investments in the current market, and the accompanying challenges and potential solutions.
Highlights of the edition include a feature on how outsourcing service providers and administrators are supporting current and future alternative asset types.
"Alternative investments have gone mainstream, and with this trend comes a specific set of challenges for buy-side firms," said Mr Migliore.
