Citisoft, a consultancy to investment firms, has appointed Ian Mainwaring as a new senior practitioner to focus on hedge funds and alternative investment products.

Previously, Mr Mainwaring was head of technology for electronic trading and hedge accounting at Rabobank International.

He has also worked at  Credit Suisse, Credit Lyonnais and Natwest Markets.
