Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management Expands Portfolio Team In London
Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management has hired Adam Ross and Rob Horan within its portfolio management team as investment director and associate director, respectively, in London.

Genuity Wealth Management has hired Adam Ross and Rob Horan
within its portfolio management team as investment director and
associate director, respectively, in London.
Both Ross and Horan will report to Duncan Stratford, investment
director of the portfolio management team.
Ross will manage portfolios and advise private clients on
investment opportunities. He spent the past 18 months as a
private wealth director with family office jonathanfry, and
before that he was a vice president and investment advisor at
Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management - advising ultra high
net worth individuals and family offices.
Meanwhile, Horan will manage portfolios and advise senior
executives on employee share schemes. He joins from Killik & Co,
where he held a similar role for over five years, and he has also
worked at BDO Investment Management.
In February the company's wealth management business in the UK
and Europe ended 2013 with record-breaking revenues of £14.9
million ($24.3 million).
However, its North American wealth management arm results were
poor. It generated £15.3 million ($25 million) in revenue but
after inter-segment allocations it recorded a net loss of £2.6
million ($4.2 million) before tax in the third quarter.
In the UK and Europe the firm manages £10 billion of assets.
