Canadian-headquartered firm Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management has appointed Andy Finch as head of wealth management in Guernsey, effective immediately.

Finch reports to chief executive Grahame Lovett and replaces Charlie Roger.

Finch has been at the firm for over a decade and will be responsible for running the Guernsey front office and promoting Canaccord Genuity’s wealth management services to local and international clients.

He will continue to lead the offshore sales team and manage relationships with global strategic distribution partners.

In other recent news, in July Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management appointed Stephen Massey as its new head of UK wealth management, reporting to chief executive Neil Drake.

Earlier this year, parent company Cannacord Financial rebranded its global wealth management division Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management, replacing the names of businesses previously known as Collins Stewart Wealth Management and Eden Financial.
