Calastone Limited, the cross-border transaction network for the mutual funds industry, said it has appointed Alexander Hofmann as director of sales.

Hofmann will report to Kevin Lee, Calastone’s managing director and co-founder. Hofmann will focus on the UK, Ireland and Scandinavian regions.

He joins Calastone from Data Explorers, the securities lending specialists, where he was head of sales for Index Explorer.
