Noland Carter, chief executive of investment services at Barclays Private Clients, has resigned. Mr Carter is currently considering a number of “challenging opportunities outside of the Barclays group,” a spokeswoman for the bank told WealthBriefing. Mr Carter has been in his current job for six years and in Barclays for a total of eight years. He held a number of other positions including chief investment officer for private banking. Barclays is currently looking at a number of candidates to replace him and will make an announcement “as soon as practicable.”
