Bank of Singapore Names New Division Heads

Bank of Singapore, the Asian banking giant that has made a number of senior hires, announced more high-level appointments today.

Jean Lee will take up the role of executive director and head of human resources, while Ambrose Law will become executive director and chief finance officer.

Lee has over 25 years of experience in various senior HR roles at HSBC Private Bank, Deutsche Private Bank, and Standard Chartered Bank. Her appointment comes shortly after the firm hired Corine Teo from HSBC as director of human resource, in a bid further to bolster its human resource team in the region.

Law steps in from Merrill Lynch, where he served as CFO of global wealth management, with a focus on the Asia Pacific, Europe and Middle East.

Bank of Singapore, which caters to high net worth individuals and wealthy families, has been actively building its Asian network to address its growing affluent client numbers. Just last month, the bank strengthened its Southeast Asia and Korea teams with key executive hires, including two new relationship managers for the Korea desk and RMs for various SEA offices.
