BRI Wealth Management Adds To Board

The Midlands-based wealth boutique has welcome an industry veteran to its board.
The UK's BRI Wealth Management has appointed Simon Smith as non-executive director.
Smith, who has been on BRI’s advisory board for the past two years, brings 30 years of industry experience. He joins from Birmingham-based Albert E Sharp where he was director and fund manager, responsible for the £330 million ($502 million) AES Smaller Companies Unit Trust.
He also founded his own investment business, Pathbrae Ventures, to work with management in acquiring businesses in the manufacturing, consumer products and support services industries.
“Simon has wide ranging experience as a non-executive director and will play an important role helping to shape BRI’s strategy at this exciting time in the firm’s development,” said BRI’s chairman, Simon Boardman-Weston.
BRI offers investment and portfolio management services for private investors, family trusts, charities, pension schemes and financial institutions.
