BNY Mellon Wealth Management Makes Senior Regional Appointment

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has appointed Penny Weeks as regional director for private banking in New England.

Weeks has more than 25 years of private banking experience serving high net worth clients and their families. Before BNY Mellon, she was a senior vice president and private banking team leader at Northern Trust and served for three years as a senior private banker at US Trust.

In her new role, she will be based in Boston and report directly to Erin Gorman, managing director of the national mortgage business.

BNY Mellon has been actively bulking up its workforce around the US over the past months. Most recently, the firm hired Susan Traver from Wells Fargo as first president of its Washington DC office, and  promoted Ridgeway Powell from director of investments for the family office unit to managing director of the ultra high net worth arm.
