BNY Mellon Wealth Management Boosts Presence In South Florida With Director Hire

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has appointed Eric Stein as senior director for business development, based in the firm’s Miami, FL, office and reporting to managing director Tim Goering.

Stein, with more than 29 years' experience serving high net worth clients, joins BNY Mellon from BB&T Bank in Miami, where he served as a wealth advisor. From 2005 to 2012 he was a HNW client advisor at SunTrust Bank in Coral Gables, FL.

In other recent developments, earlier this month, BNY Mellon Wealth Management named Christopher Facka as senior director for business development, based in West Palm Beach, FL, and reporting to Goering.

The moves are part of BNY Mellon's two-year recruitment campaign, which will involve adding around 100 new positions in the US and abroad, reflecting what the firm described as its “profound commitment” to the wealth management industry (view a related interview with Larry Hughes, CEO, here).

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has $188 billion in private client assets, as at end-March 2013.
