BNP Paribas Poaches BNY Mellon Investment Sales Boss

The asset management arm of France's BNP Paribas aims to enhance its presence in the wealth management community with the new hire.

BNP Paribas Investment Partners has appointed Andy Gibb as a business development manager within its external distribution team.

Gibb joins from BNY Mellon, where he spent six years as investment sales director. He was previously business development director at Insynergy Investment Management and investment sales manager at Skandia Investment Management.

Based in London, Gibb will focus on wealth managers, fund distributors and family offices. He will report to Mike Woolley, BNP Paribas IP’s head of external distribution for the UK.

Last month, BNP Paribas IP appointed James Dilworth to the newly-created role of global head of sales. He is also based in London.
