Arrow Capital Management, the New York-based alternative investment manager, has appointed John DeRaimo to the newly-created role of chief operating officer.

DeRaimo's previously served as senior analyst and with his new responsibilities will concentrate on the firm’s operations, including its strategic growth initiatives.  He will report to co-managing members Alex von Furstenberg and Mal Serure.

Prior to joining Arrow Capital DeRaimo worked for Landmark as a member of its investment committee and was responsible for evaluating alternative investments.
