American Express Private Bank has hired Antoine Bordelais as senior director and regional investment specialist for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Mr Bordelais’s responsibilities will include private banking clients’ investment strategies, contributing to the American Express Private Bank’s global investment products strategy and managing a team of investment specialists for the EMEA region. Based in London, he has been appointed to American Express global wealth management’s executive committee for the EMEA region and American Express Bank’s global asset allocation committee. Before joining American Express Private Bank, Mr Bordelais worked for several wealth management firms in senior roles. At Capital Partners Group, he led the firm’s international private banking and asset management business in London. He also served as chief executive officer of Credit Suisse Personal Finance in the UK. At UBS Private Banking, he was managing director and was instrumental in launching a pan-European wealth management business, including locations in Germany, the UK and France. American Express Private Bank has more than $20 billion in assets under management.
