Accountancy Firm Names New Private Client Head

The accountancy firm Grant Thornton has strengthened its wealth management operations with the appointment of Jonathan Griffin as head of its private client services in Yorkshire, according to media reports.

In his new role Griffin will be based in Leeds, where he is to be joined by Neil Messenger, national head of wealth management, as the firm looks to widen its tax and financial planning offering.

Griffin and Messenger have worked together at Grant Thornton for ten years.

"I’m aiming to tap into the entrepreneurial spirit prevalent in this part of Yorkshire and to guide our clients through the complex issues they face in respect of private and personal related financial matters,” said Griffin about his new role.
