AMP Overhauls Leadership Ranks Following AXA Merger
AMP Financial Services, the New Zealand wealth manager, has reshuffled its senior ranks following its merger with AXA Asia-Pacific Holdings which took effect 1 April 2011.
The appointments were made across the company's key businesses, which covered banking and wealth management, strategic marketing and sales and wealth protection and mature products.
Banking and Wealth Management
Chris Jensen, previously the acting director of wealth management products at AMP, is now director of contemporary wealth management products. Robert Baille, previously the AXA head of wealth management pricing and risk, is now director of pricing, Steve Burgess, previously the general manager of platforms at AXA, is now director of platforms, while Brad Green, previously the AFS director for strategy & growth, is now director of business operations. Mike Lawrence and John McIlroy retain their roles as managing director of AMP Bank and director of Multiport, respectively.
All report to Rob Caprioli, the division director.
Strategic Marketing and Sales
Barry Wyatt, formerly the director of sales at AXA, is now director of sales, Michael Paff, formerly the director of wealth protection products at AMP, is now director of strategic marketing, while Cam Cimino, previously the GM for digital business and service relationships at AXA, is now director of business marketing. Former AMP head of directors office Belinda Meyers is now director of business operations.
All report to Adrian Emery, division director.
Wealth Protection and Mature Products
Michael Rogers, who used to be the GM for financial protection at AXA, is now director of retail risk, Robert Bergin, previously the head of group insurance at AXA, is now director of group risk, while Bernadene Gordon, previously the head of product proposition for wealth protection products at AMP, is now director for underwriting and claims policy. Gopal Raman, formerly the head of strategy and operations wealth protection products at AMP, is now director of mature products and business support, while Stephen Varney, formerly the head of pricing and reinsurance at AXA, is now director of pricing & reinsurance.
All report to Ian Campbell, division director.
Leadership positions at AMP Financial Planning, AXA Financial Planning, Hillross, Charter, Genesys and iPac remain unchanged.
