client accountancy firms in the UK. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant
in 1996 and as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2002, and was made a partner
in Saffery Champness in 2003. Tim specialises in advising private clients,
be they owners of businesses, land or simply investment portfolios. He
is part of his firm's forum on private client affairs, and was nominated
for an award as the UK Private Client Accountant of the Year in 2004.
Charles Hamilton Stubber
Charles is managing director of Aon Private Risk Management Europe, a specialist division of Aon Limited, which
advises private families and individuals on their insurance requirements and specific risk management issues.
He has specialised in the private client insurance risk management arena since 1984. He spent 10 years heading up the office of
J.H. Minet in Monaco, before returning to England in 1996 when he continued to develop UK and European private client insurance
portfolios.
In 2001 Aon Private Risk Management Europe was formed and Charles is responsible for developing insurance solutions for families
and individuals across Europe, while coordinating with the US and Far East.
Philip Marcovici

Marcovici is a partner of Baker & McKenzie Zurich, and the chair of
the firm's global private banking steering group. Philip is also the CEO
of LawInContext Pte.Ltd., the interactive knowledge venture created by
Baker & McKenzie. Among others, LawInContext offers the Private Banking
Helpdesk, an online suite of up-to-date information and training resources
for private banks, including information on the legal and tax needs of
high net worth families in countries around the world.
Daniel Martineau

Daniel worked in management positions for leading trust companies in Canada
prior to taking up roles in offshore trust companies in Nassau, Jersey
and Geneva, most recently as Managing Director of the Swiss trust company
for a leading international private banking group. A graduate of the University
of Western Ontario in London, Canada, he subsequently earned his Master
of Business Administration at the University of Miami. He is accredited
as a member of the Trust Companies Institute in Canada, is a chartered
member of the Financial Planning Institute of Canada and a member of the
Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners (STEP).

He was previously an independent consultant on institutional asset management, advising on business development and
manager risk and co-founder/ research director of RCP & Partners which developed fiduciary rating for evaluation of
the total risk of entrusting financial assets/ responsibilities to third parties. Shane compiled and edited The FT Guide
to Investment Managers in Asia, and wrote a newsletter on the asset management industry. In the 1990s he was based in
Hong Kong as a research and management consultant to investment management companies in Asia and Europe where he advised
a major European bank on the establishment of a $2 billion private-banking unit in Singapore. He has also worked for N.M.
Rothschild & Sons (Hong Kong) Ltd and James Capel & Co London.
Rhian-Anwen Hamill

co-founded RAH Partners in 2006. Her search career previously
was at The Rose Partnership, where she headed the Wealth and
Asset Management practice and at Whitehead Mann where she specialised
in private wealth management.
Rhian-Anwen holds a degree in English from Cambridge University.
Her career began in equity sales at Goldman Sachs, where she remained
for seven years before moving to Salomon Brothers. She spent two
years as Director of The Wales Millennium Centre, a £100 million national
arts centre in Cardiff.
She has served as an independent assessor for
public appointments for the Department of Culture, Media and Sport
and is currently Vice President for the Hay on Wye Festival of Literature.
She speaks fluent French and Welsh.

organizations UBS and Midland Montagu Investment Banking. In May 2000,
Ray founded MilleniumAssociates AG, specialising in independent M&A
advice for the Wealth Management Industry. He takes an advisory role in
deal initiation / origination, negotiation/closing, integration and team
management on a global basis. Focus is on the financial institutions sector
and in particular the wealth and asset management Industry. Ray has a
network of contacts of buyers, sellers and investors in Europe, Middle
East, Asia, Japan, and US.

He previously spent eleven years at Merrill Lynch where he was Director,
Marketing & Communications EMEA, and Director of Corporate Communications
for the International Private Banking Group.
Michael Strachan
Michael Strachan is the Managing Director of International Asset Monitor and has over 30 years investment experience. He is the company’s founder which he established in 1987 in Guernsey. He developed the approach used by International Asset Monitor whilst one of the original Senior Investment Managers in the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and subsequently as Advisor to the State General Reserve Fund for the Government of Oman, two major Sovereign Wealth Funds. ADIA was unique at the time in its development of a structure that combined both externally-managed specialists and internal investment managers – a situation that required a rigorous framework and monitoring disciplines. This experience underlies IAM’s own development of flexible unconstrained guidelines which allow fund managers to manage money actively, whilst controlling risk centrally. Before working for ADIA, Michael worked as an investment manager with Guardian Royal Exchange in London.

Monte Carlo, returning to London in 2001.
Randall Willette
Randall Willette is the founder and managing director of Fine Art Wealth Management, the
first art investment consultancy to specialise in art as an alternative asset class. Prior to establishing
the company in 2003 Randall was Executive Director and Head of Art Banking for UBS Wealth Management in
London responsible for building its global art banking franchise in Europe and America. Before joining UBS,
Randall was a managing director in corporate finance and joint head of securitisation with Citigroup in
